Job Summary
We are seeking a highly specialized Financial Project Management Professional with over 10 years of experience in Banking Technology, focusing on BUILD Financials, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Project Management Office (PMO). The role will focus on Business and Financial Project Management within banking technology, specifically handling financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, and resource capacity planning for large-scale technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Banking Technology Expertise (10 Years): Lead and manage Build Financials within the banking technology sector, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, spend utilization, and resource capacity planning across various tech-driven projects.
- Project Financial Management: Set up and govern financial processes for large banking technology projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Track investment performance, manage P&L, and create detailed MIS analytics for banking tech initiatives.
- FP&A and Financial Governance: Take ownership of financial planning and analysis for banking technology projects, ensuring accurate budget management, forecasting, and financial control. Ensure transparency and financial visibility through reporting and dashboard management.
- Resource and Capacity Planning: Oversee resource capacity planning for technology projects, ensuring optimal use of human capital and work allocation. Develop and maintain systems to streamline financial performance across projects.
- Technology Finance Controller: Establish finance governance across both BUILD and OPERATE (Change the Bank & Run the Bank ) banking technology projects, ensuring transparency and control over monthly and yearly budgets.
- Quantitative Analytics & MIS Reporting: Develop and manage advanced quantitative analytics and MIS reporting, providing decision-making insights for banking technology investments and performance tracking.
- CTB PMO Financial Leadership: Lead the PMO financial function, overseeing project financials across multiple banking technology clusters. Manage rolling forecasts, budgeting, and financial portfolios to drive performance and alignment.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ Years of Banking Technology Experience: Proven experience in managing financials, BUILD financials, FP&A, and PMO oversight specifically within banking technology.
- 10+ Years of Overall Experience: Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, governance, and process standardization, with a clear focus on banking technology.
- Quantitative Analytics and Financial Reporting: Deep expertise in building and managing financial dashboards, quantitative analytics, and MIS reporting to support banking technology investment decisions.
- Resource & Capacity Planning: Extensive experience in resource and capacity planning for large-scale banking tech projects, focusing on optimizing resource allocation to enhance financial performance.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in tools like Tableau, PPM, QlikView, / Cognos,&SharePoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Accounting or a related field.
- 10 years of experience within the Banking Technology industry with expertise in Financial Planning & Analytics, Project Management, and Resource Capacity Planning.
Required Skills
- Experience in banking technology financial governance and driving transparency initiatives.
- Strong leadership in conceptualizing and implementing financial support frameworks for banking tech projects.
- Familiarity with banking technology platforms, Agile, and SDLC methodologies.
