Le Pub is looking for a Strategy Director to join the team immediately. If you’ve got 8-10 years of experience in communications strategy, brand building and design brand experience/ customer journey– we’d love to hear from you.


Discipline overview


The Strategy Director is responsible for creating powerful visions and roadmaps for brands - bridging brand strategy, campaign planning, experience design and innovation. With a rich background in brand and communications planning + passion for innovation + obsession with popular culture, the director is a project leader and trusted advisor across the agency and client world.


Job Description

Your role as Strategy Director is defined by 3 key areas of responsibility:


1. Leading the strategic recommendation to build & grow brands to support client business growth:

  • Provide strategic thinking and consumer insights suitable for developing Global Brand Communications/Platforms and Campaigns.
  • Inspire, drive, and deliver strategic thinking and frameworks suitable for Tiger’s & Heineken’s overarching platforms and campaigns
  • Have deep understanding of client business to provide consultant POV on what is the right things to do

2. Have gravitas and ability to Hold strategic conversations with senior clients, and define key priorities for the account to support the growth agenda.

  • Champion strategic direction and elevate creative output on the account.

d. Via annual planning conversations to help define priorities for investment and what is required to deliver this


e. Via strategic approach for global and regional campaigns that build a global brand yet are locally relevant. You will work closely with the local planning team and data points from local markets to ensure we have local insights reflected in our global campaign where applicable


f. Lead the integration of capabilities and external partners to deliver a seamless campaign ecosystem


g. Via giving creative direction that delivers the most effective expression of the aligned strategy on the brand & campaign. Working closely with the creative and account team to inspire and shape the work to our global standard


h. Inspire and elevate creative work for the brands


3. Be the brand governance for local markets:

a. Involve in local campaigns and support strategic rigour as well as inspire and elevate creative outputs.

b. Provide guidance for local implementation of the global campaign and beyond to ensure brand consistency yet apply what works well locally to achieve success

c. Review and support the strategic direction and creative output for local campaigns (done by local markets)

Qualifications


● Require 8-10 years experience in a modern advertising agency (digital, integrated comms, content, Social, Activation)

● Strong strategic thinking and experience delivering successful integrated communications

● Has experience working on the global, and regional business is preferred

● A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations

● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees

● Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail

● Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills

· Presenting compelling stories

· Understanding problems and opportunities from various lenses

· Developing territories and inspiring teams around them

· Working in multidisciplinary teams

· Designing and facilitating workshops

· Navigating agency and client dynamics
