Job Purpose


This is a strategic role to provide credit suppport and advice to Marketing officers in tasks relating to credit approval process, offering credit risk mitigants and structuring solutions towards existing client files and prospects.


Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of credit applications (such as renewals, change of conditions and miscellaneous applications), financial projections and spreadsheet, obligor grading and Self-Assessment.
  • Evaluate and structure credit facilities to mitigate risks, provide guidance to Marketing teams in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support Marketing teams in Problem Accounts Management, address queries and comments from auditors and regulators and implementation of audit recommendations.
  • Due date management - Ensure timely completion of the above-mentioned credit applications and all other credit related due dates.
  • Relevant internal reporting duties.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management or Group Head as required.

Job Requirements

  • Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Accountancy, or related discipline.
  • Min. 3 years of relevant work experience in credit analysis in the banking and finance industry.
  • A team player who is detailed-oriented and has good analytical skill.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
