NIE invites suitable candidates to join the Division of Academic Computing & Information Services (ACIS) as Senior/Business Analyst (2-year contract).

Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Governance Leadership: Be an integral part of our Technology Governance Committee, ensuring that all technology projects adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements for innovative AI solutions.
- AI Project Management: Assist in monitoring AI projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with our strategic business objectives.
- Effective Communication: Engage with faculty members and researchers to understand their requirements, provide updates, gather feedback, and follow up to ensure timely progress on projects.
- Technical Expertise: Address technical queries from faculty members and researchers, leveraging your technical expertise to provide accurate and helpful responses.
- Hands-on Support: Contribute to projects by performing medium-level coding tasks, assisting with technical challenges, and supporting the development process.
- Compliance Audits: Participate in audits to ensure compliance with both internal standards and external regulations, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and accountability.
Requirements:
- A University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- A proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of technology governance and AI solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business requirements.
- Technical proficiency in coding and project management, with a proven track record of supporting successful AI initiatives.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to achieving collective goals.
Other Information
NIE staff can take chartered buses at their own expense from or near their homes to NIE campus. This is subject to the availability of seats.
