Human Resource Manager

Bartley Christian Church Ltd.

Key Responsibilities


Recruitment and Staffing

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future staffing needs.

Employee Relations

  • Foster a positive working environment by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Implement and oversee employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and retention.

Performance Management

  • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to Pastors and Ministry Heads in conducting performance reviews and setting development goals.

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and organize professional development programs for staff.
  • Encourage continuous learning and development aligned with the church's mission and values.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Oversee the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding employee compensation.

Policy Development and Compliance

  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and church policies.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR-related documentation.
  • Utilize HR information systems for efficient data management and reporting.
  • Manage payroll and salary increments and bonuses for staff.

Qualifications

  • Preferably Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a human resource management role, preferably within a non-profit or religious organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
