Job scope:
- Work with project PI to develop experimental plans for ammonia synthesis/cracking/combustion in thermocatalysis or electrocatalysis or plasma catalyst
- Assist in experimental design
- Conduct experiments to collect kinetic parameters
- Characterisation of catalyst properties with various physical and chemical methods.
- Coordinate with vendors on reactor modification and improvement.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials for regular project meetings and summarize results in reports
- Prepare results for publications in scientific journals or patents
Job requirements:
- Degree or Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry or Applied Physics
- Knowledge in catalysis
- Hands experience on operation for fixed bed reactor.
- Experience in reactor building with automation is preferred
- Proactive, team player and good problem-solving skills
- Data analysis and interpretation skills
- Excellent oral/written communication
- Willingness to learn new skills and explore new ideas
