Job Description
- Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of MALDI and TOF systems.
- Manage technical service matters including but limited to warranty claims from customers.
- Provide technical solutions and expertise to support regional partners' engineers via both onsite and remote modes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science (especially Chemistry) or Engineering or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience related to technical service or product or sales role in analytical instrument industry.
- Must be able travel in the Asia Pacific region.
- Must have ownership, self-initiative & pro-active attitude towards work.
- Possess logical thinking skills which are essential for technical troubleshooting.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good co-ordination skills with both internal and external parties.
- Familiarity with remote technical support is desirable.
- Prior experience with Mass Spectrometry (MS) or Time of Flight (TOF) will be a distinct advantage.
