Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end GL closing activities, including posting journals for provisions, accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cash forecasts, and group reporting.
- Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain robust internal controls.
- Prepare audit schedules and oversee the audit process.
- Finalize financial reports and ensure adherence to statutory reporting requirements
- Manage tax compliance, including GST, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing.
- Prepare corporate tax data for tax agents to complete tax computations and filings.
- Perform variance analysis and manage cost accruals and provisions.
- Assist the FP&A team with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Calculate sales incentives and submit them to HR for payroll processing.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and local government bureaus as needed.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and provide financial information and recommendations.
- Drive continuous process improvements, SOP development, and manage ad-hoc projects, such as new system implementations.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Accountacy, Business, Finance or any related course of studies
- Min 3 years of experience in General Ledger
- Experience in medical industry will be advantageous
