Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Associate for “Engineered extracellular vesicles for anti-cancer therapy (EVANTICA) in the Department of Pharmacology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Teaching and research activities in our department range from clinical pharmacology, systems pharmacology, to basic molecular and cellular pharmacology. Purpose of the post

The Research Associate (RA) will be responsible for maintaining the lab operation, project execution and work closely with, the Principal Investigator to manage the team and all related collaboration.


Main duties and responsibilities

The RA will coordinate the research project, specifically:

  1. Assist the logistics of the project including procurement, administration, safety, lab maintenance
  2. Coordinate team members and collaborators (including recruitment, relation management, meeting organization, task and timeline management)
  3. Collect reports from team members and compile into the project reports
  4. Setup and execute research collaboration agreements with industry partners
  5. Assist PI with grant applications and other administrative tasks in a timely manner

Qualifications

The applicant should:

  1. Have a Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines
  2. Experience in research project management and logistics
  3. be able to work in a team, have an investigative nature, attention to details
  4. excellent in communication and leadership
  5. mature, responsible and responsive

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
