Broad Function
As a Sustainable Energy Executive & Project Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of sustainable energy projects in the maritime industry.
You will work closely with the sustainable energy team and other departments to contribute to the transition towards cleaner energy sources. Your main responsibilities will include research, data analysis, project management, and assistance in the creation of sustainable energy strategies.
Qualifications:
- Completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as environmental studies, maritime, engineering, or sustainability related curriculum and/or at least three (3) years of experience in a related field.
- Strong interest in sustainable energy and environmental issues.
- Knowledge of maritime, renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency concepts are preferred.
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Co-development of Alternative Marine Fuels & Carbon Neutral solutions for customers
- Working Close with various partners in the alternative fuel supply chain, primarily customers, authorities and marine classification societies.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on low carbon, sustainable energy technologies, policies, and practices.
- Analyze data related to vessel energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and renewable energy potential.
- Evaluate potential sustainable energy projects and initiatives.
Project Management & Support:
- Lead or assist in developing and implementing sustainable energy projects.
- Collaborate with team members on feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
- Coordinate project activities, including meetings, presentations, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to the team.
Strategy and Policy Development:
- Contribute to creating low carbon marine fuel & energy strategies and action plans.
- Identify policy gaps and opportunities for sustainable energy integration.
- Stay informed about maritime and energy industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Generate reports and tools for carbon management as required.
Communication and Outreach:
- Assist in preparing reports presentations, and educational materials.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and events.
- Support internal and external communication efforts.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate with teams to integrate sustainable energy practices.
- Share knowledge and innovative ideas with colleagues.
