Roles and Responsibilities
- Organize, prepare, and coordinate the Board of Directors (BOD) and Operational Meetings twice a year, consolidating reports and documents for these meetings.
- Prepare translations of documents and reports for Japan HQ Top Management, corresponding with corporate divisions at Japan HQ, such as Corporate Division Group, HR, and other relevant divisions.
- Reform the Performance Appraisal system to enhance employee performance evaluation and establish an optimal evaluation framework.
- Analyse and review the salary benchmarking system across the Asia Pacific group offices, aligning with Japan HQ practices and standards of process.
- Coordinate and drive the M&A project, particularly in HR areas such as due diligence, organizational integration, salary and remuneration optimization, and business process and operations analysis.
- Provide training and development for Kyocera Philosophy education, establishing a training system that integrates with the evaluation system, including job level-based education and promotion qualifications.
- Liaise with Japan HQ HR to support expatriate staff stationed in the group offices across the Asia Pacific region.
- Support expatriate staff relocation, including visa applications, moving arrangements, and orientation within the group offices.
Requirement
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources role, specifically in a regional role (managing office across Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and India) within a Japanese company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledgeable with Kyocera philosophy, with experience managing Training and Development related of Kyocera Philosophy education.
- Skilled in organizing corporate meetings with top management from the Japan HQ.
- Familiar with labour law and experience in handling labour law-related matters in Asia-Pacific regions and compliances (e.g. Immigration laws, Personal Data Protection Act).
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate internally and with the counterpart at our parent company or group company worldwide.
- Excellent communication skill. Able to deliver clear and concise message to the Management, team members / key stakeholders and keeping others informed of the progress.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous, with the ability to organize and maintain HR records and reports for senior management.
- Good in problem-solving while exhibiting good judgement and logical thinking.
