Our Client is a well-established entity in brokerage industry, and is one of the largest full-service ship and yacht broking firms globally, with a rich history of over 150 years in maritime services. With expertise in all major shipping segments—Tanker, Dry Bulk, Chemical, LNG, LPG, Offshore, Liner, and Yachting.
Job Responsibilities:
Ship Broker (Panamax, Supramax, FFA (Forward Freight Agreement))
· Establish a framework and processes for managing chartering operations.
· Lead negotiations related to ship chartering, collaborating closely with traders and addressing their inquiries, while fostering direct cooperation.
· Negotiate charter party terms and conditions on behalf of Owners or Charterers.
· Deliver timely and accurate shipping information and voyage calculations to the trading teams to ensure smooth trading operations.
· Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with ship owners, cargo owners, ship brokers, and other stakeholders.
· Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
· Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment.
