Job Scopes:
- The effective operation of the Gym and various fitness training programmes.
- The well-balanced management of general Gym maintenance and personal training programmes.
- The effective discharge of the responsibilities of the Department as specified in the Club’s organization chart through appropriate policies, strategies, action plans, systematic work procedures, relevant performance control system, and acceptable work standards.
- Demonstrate or explain how to perform various exercises and routines to minimize injuries and improve fitness
- Watch clients do exercises to ensure that they are using the correct techniques
- Provide alternative exercises during workouts or classes for different levels of fitness and skill
- Monitor clients’ progress and adapt programs as needed
- Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations on sports, recreational activities, and the use of exercise equipment
- Give clients information or resources about nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues
- Give emergency first aid if needed
Job Requirement:
- Minimum ‘N’ Level or Graduated in Sports Management or equivalent
- Certified Personal Training
- Minimum 2 years of personal training experience preferred
- Program design experience preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- 5-day work week (Able to work rotating shifts including weekends, Public Holidays)
- Working hours 5.30 am to 1.30 pm, 7 am to 3 pm, 12 noon to 8 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm (44 hours per week)
