Responsibilities:
● Lead the scaling of our production from prototype to mass manufacturing.
● Simplify and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
● Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of components.
● Build and manage partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers to support large-scale production.
● Oversee the development of manufacturing tools, fixtures, and production lines.
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production output.
● Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
● 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on scaling production.
● Proven experience in high-volume manufacturing, ideally in consumer products or similar fields.
● Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain management.
● Ability to simplify complex manufacturing processes and optimize production lines.
● Strong network of contacts within the manufacturing industry.
● Experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers, especially in the APAC region.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
