- Manage steering and organsing committee meetings, ensuring alignment on deliverables, milestones, and financials. Your strategic insight will guide the success of high-profile events that define our brand.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Engage with the stakeholders continuously and ensuring alignment on events deliverables, milestones and financials.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholder teams in identifying and amplifying business opportunities.
- Partner with Procurement & Finance to ensure adherence to governance standards and effective cost management. Your financial acumen will be key in optimizing event budgets and delivering value.
- Define and adapt project proposals to ensure concepts are suitable, relevant and will strongly resonate with local preferences by influencing/challenging headquarter.
- Work with local teams to ensure strategic framework is relevant and actionable before event kick off.
- Act as key Coordinator / Leader with markets throughout their project management process.
- Lead the events performance analysis and provide feedback to the management + Global team.
- Ensure right level of market/industry empowerment on local events practices (sustainability and circularity).
Requirements
- Degree in Sporting, Management, or a related field
- More than 10 years’ proven experience in leading teams in high profile events
- A visionary leader with a passion in the field of events management and execution
- Knowledge and experience in major sporting, entertainment and/or lifestyle events
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- A collaborative team player who can inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
