My client, from an established medical device company, is looking out for a competent Marketing Executive to join their organization.
Job Overview
Objective: Lead the Regional Health IT Business Unit (BU) by fostering ideal market conditions to meet sales and marketing goals. Develop and implement strategies to support the BU’s objectives across the product lifecycle—from concept to phase-out.
Key Responsibilities
Product management and Strategy
- Serve as the primary knowledge resource on Health IT products and their value propositions.
- Develop and execute marketing plans, including new product launch materials and annual strategies.
- Conduct market analysis to support strategic decision-making, focusing on target markets, segmentation, competitive intelligence, and market positioning for the BU.
- Identify evidence and data gaps to enhance the value proposition of the product portfolio.
- Translate scientific, technological, and customer needs into impactful marketing messages and product positioning. Communicate these strategies effectively with country-level sales and marketing teams.
Business development
- Lead the design and execution of product initiatives, including launching new products and services, introducing enhancements, and adjusting pricing.
- Monitor competitor activities and develop actionable strategies to counteract them.
- Provide expert-level product support to business partners (distributors/affiliates) and assist with escalated issues as needed.
- Address customer complaints with professionalism and implement corrective/preventive measures.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal and external teams to align objectives and drive shared goals.
- Lead the new product launch process within the SAP system, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science with 2-3 years of experience in clinical laboratory or patient care settings. Minimum 1 year in the digital health or software development industry, and at least 1 year in Health IT system implementation and support.
- Proven cross-functional experience with international teams.
- Technical proficiency in Health IT software applications and implementation, with knowledge of SQL, HL7, Unix, and Oracle.
- Expertise in Health Informatics and clinical reporting.
- Basic financial literacy and strong analytical skills for interpreting market and product data to drive business insights.
