In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations, creating a positive environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Oversee daily administrative functions, manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence. Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure the workspace remains tidy and welcoming.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and events. Coordinate logistics for faculty and student activities, including room reservations and equipment setup.
- Record Keeping: Manage and update student and faculty records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Handle document preparation, filing, and data entry tasks.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications. Facilitate interactions between departments, students, and parents.
- Support Services: Provide administrative assistance to faculty and staff, including preparing reports, presentations, and other necessary documents.
- Event Assistance: Help organize and coordinate school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other educational activities.
- Student & Parent Interaction: Address student and parent inquiries, providing information and resolving issues as they arise. Support the onboarding and orientation process for new students and families.
- Compliance & Procedures: Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures. Assist with implementing new administrative protocols and systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: No specific requirements.
- Experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting, is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
