Retail Operations & Projects Specialist, SEAI wanted, Up $5K
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Work Location: Pasir Panjang
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 830am – 530pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch
Report to: Retail Operations & Service Director, SEAI
The Retail Operations Projects Specialist is dedicated to supporting the Retail Operations & Service Director in the successful planning, execution, and management to create the future with owned value stores in India, as part of Next% Strategy. This role is pivotal in collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring that the business processes in managing our India new stores are documented and meets the standards for operational excellence and service experience.
Responsibilities:
Process Mapping, Standardization and Optimization:
1. Map out E2E standardized operating procedures as part of the new operating model of owned value stores in India, ensuring consistency and compliance across all different states.
2. Identify areas for improvement in the process and procedures and collaborate with the Retail Operations & Services Diretor to refine and enhance these processes.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
1. Provide regular updates to the Retail Operations & Service Director on the status of process mapping, highlighting risks, challenges, and opportunities.
2. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress, store readiness, and post-opening performance metrics.
*Run the Business:*
1. Provide support to ensure key value drops and deliverables to run the business for existing fleet are on time and in full
2. Provide support to O2O initiatives such as Ship-to-Store for Direct Stores to deliver elevated consumer service
3. Provide support to membership programs, such as birthday rewards, to enhance consumer retention & boost returning store traffic
4. Oversee vendor relationships and management of store supplies replenishment
5. Provide support on day-to-day operational business needs when required such as incident responses
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance or related fields
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Retail, preferably in retail operations, retail management, project management, or a similar role, Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Strong time management & demonstrate agility to adapt to business conditions
