- Conduct regular inspections to verify the work complies with method statements and BCA's Good Industry Practice (GIP) guidelines.
- • Monitor subcontractor workers across all trades, identifying and ensuring proper rectification of defects.
- • Create and implement effective QA/QC plans to ensure consistent quality throughout the project.
- • Prepare clear and accurate QA/QC reports and assist in preparing QM submissions.
- • Maintain quality standards: Execute quality control based on site-specific materials and the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
- • Issue and manage Site Memos: Effectively communicate non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive measures through Site Memos.
- • Oversee corrective actions: Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions against identified non-conformities.
- • Liaise with external bodies: Arrange and coordinate with BCA for CONQUAS assessments.
- • Ensure method statement compliance: Verify that all method statements have client and consultant approvals before implementation.
- • Manage testing requirements: Follow up on all required tests as per contract specifications and Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
- • Active participation: Attend regular site meetings (QAQC, Landscape Coordination, Client Meetings) and contribute actively.
- • Off-site inspections: Conduct or participate in inspections at precast and structural steel works facilities (Malaysia and Singapore).
- • Facilitate smooth handover during handover inspections and addressing client defects during the Defect Liability Period.
- Ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by management or supervisor
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma or Degree in a QA/QC, Engineering, or Construction-related field.
• Proven experience in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction quality control/assurance principles and practices.
• Proficiency in construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
