Job Description
We are looking for a Travel Consultant to provide a smooth travel experience for our corporate Client. You will be part of a team of Travel Consultants dedicated on-site at Bukit Gombak (Cashew MRT station) to service our Client.
Responsibilities
- Handle business travel requests, including air, hotel, car and rail.
- Ensure that reservations are aligned with the Client’s travel policy and be proactive in optimising the Client’s travel spend.
- Provide insightful travel advisory.
- Handle any amendments, cancellations, schedule changes and disruptions, communicating the implication of each change to the Client in a professional manner.
- Generate invoices and ensure accurate billing.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with the Client.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of fares and ticketing would be ideal, otherwise training will be provided.
- Knowledge of other travel products including hotels, car transfer and rail would be a bonus.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive team player with good communications skills.
Education/ Professional
- Minimum 2 years of travel industry experience.
- Diploma in tourism, hospitality or related fields.
