Purchasing Manager
- Handle and manage full spectrum of procurement functions with day-to-day operation.
- Oversees all Procurement activities associated with the effective purchasing of material requirements by the Procurement Department in accordance with schedules, specifications, and budgets.
- Conduct random quality verification (mechanical properties/chemical analysis) of round bars and flanges of the stock items to ensure quality of raw materials supplied by vendors/supplier.
- Plans, organizes, directs and controls company purchase.
- Work closely with Supplier and Finance department on payment issues.
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate functional processes and procedures are established aligning, where practicable, industry best practice/standards and company policies.
- Responsible for ensuring their own compliance to the company code of ethics.
- Work closely with project team to achieve team performance.
- Any other duties assigned to you by the Management.
Requirement:
- Degree in Engineering / Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in purchasing function in construction industry/environment
- Team player who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Independent, patient, reliable and analytical.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and leadership skills.
