Make an Impact by:
Month end closing
- Co-ordinate with Line and prepare Accounting Journals, verifying controls, accuracy, completeness of supporting documents.
- Check journals prepared by Shared Services team.
- Involve in daily operational matters such as bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
- Prepare Flash Reports, refresh and check closing templates.
- Prepare consolidated hybrid file for closing review with Finance Manager.
- Follow up with Finance team for completion of closing results and check consolidated numbers.
Intercompany
- Work with Interco Finance teams to ensure that accruals and Interco balances are in sync.
- Work with Line for prompt recording of Interco invoices.
Budget
- Assist in P/L Budget
- Attend to Budget and Accounting Separation queries, preparation of budgeting templates for upload.
System
- BPC uploads for budgets/extraction.
- Maintenance of mapping file.
Audit
- Retrieve and provide supporting documents to Auditors.
- Check audit schedules prepared by shared service team.
Tax
- Assist in the preparation of Quarterly GST reports, ensuring statutory compliance.
- Assist in Income tax computation for review by tax team.
Others
- Assist in setting up of new reports and reconciliation process for new business.
This is a 1 year direct contract with Singtel.
Skills for Success:
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- 0-2 years work experience in financial accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge with SAP & BPC system will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently
