- Handle the regional procurement team in their day-to-day activities.
- Responsible for placing supplier agreements in consideration of sales and operations requirements.
- Create and expand relationships with existing and new suppliers and perform research on market development on suppliers.
- Manage all rate negotiations with the suppliers and explore other opportunities to make optimal use of the suppliers’ portfolio.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- At least 5 years of procurement experience in container shipping (shipping/freight forwarding).
- Strong market knowledge in sea freights and transportation.
- Proven leadership skills with good negotiation and analytical skills.
