Job Desciption
- Report to Executive, Building Services
- Supervise contractors performing all building maintenance and repair to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and safety regulations
- Oversee and check on tenants’ fitting-out and reinstatement works
- Identify and report any non-compliance with building regulations or safety standards
- Conduct inspections of reinstated units before taking over
- Prepare vacant units for hand over, ensuring they are in good condition and assist in the handover and takeover of premises to and from tenants
- Attend to building maintenance and repairs in common areas and tenanted premises
- Provide technical supports to the department in areas including
- Fire Evacuation Exercises – part of CERT and/or assist in fire drills
- Emergency Works – respond to any emergency maintenance and repairs
- Other Building Works – assist in any other building-related works as required
- Perform any other duties assigned by the company and/or department from time to time
Job requirements
- Higher Nitec in Facilities Management or Nitec in Built Environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role
- Ability to supervise contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required by the role, including lifting, climbing and work at height
- Require to perform half day of work on alternate Saturdays
