Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using high-level programming languages. Produce clean, efficient, and scalable code that meets business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design application features with a deep understanding of the business context.
- While experience with Scala is preferred, we welcome experts in any programming language who are willing to quickly learn and become proficient in Scala.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Analyse and resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring the software is reliable and performs well in various environments.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continually enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, with a strong preference for experience in Scala/Java.
- Experience in ReactJS, Elastic Search, Angular JS is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to tackle complex coding challenges and develop innovative solutions.
