Company Overview:
We are currently partnering with a leading food and agribusiness on a Group Accountant position. Should you have 3-5 years of experience in preparing consolidated financial statements as well as reports, please apply below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, including all supporting schedules.
- Review inter-company transactions.
- Analyze and prepare group’s financial and management reports.
- Create consolidated journal entries.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data submitted by subsidiary finance teams and gain insights into Group performance.
- Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams to gather financial data and analyze results.
- Assist with the annual audit process and the preparation of annual reports.
- Examine financial processes to identify opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a CPA/ACCA qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in consolidation or audit, preferably with a Big 4 audit firm.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, embrace challenges, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, capable of working independently and critically analyzing situations.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
