Technical Sales Executive
- Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 6pm, Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm - only one sat to work for every 5 weeks
- Location: Woodlands
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technical Sales Executive to drive sales and business development in the precision machining sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of precision machining processes, materials, and applications, and will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your role will involve coordinating sales activities, maintaining records, generating reports, and collaborating with internal departments to facilitate customer shipments. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as you may be required to assist in various areas as assigned by your superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with sales background or related discipline
- Experience in the precision machining or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical background and understanding of precision machining processes and materials.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Job Scope:
- Identify and target potential clients in the precision machining industry.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Understand and communicate the technical aspects of precision machining processes and capabilities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure client requirements are met.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding product specifications and applications.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the ERP system.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
