JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Receive, check and examine the inventory of stock that arrive at the warehouses and storage facilities where stock is held.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to the delivery schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Make report of any discrepancies, if any, for incoming goods against the invoices.
- Ensure the daily log for inventory management is always up-to-date.
- Assist the drivers in processing clearance documents.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment as and when needed.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
- Any other duties and responsibilities may be varied from time to time at the sole discretion of the Company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Is self-driven, meticulous and a good team player.
- Able to lift and carry materials weighing around 25kgs.
- Possess at least 1-2 years of working experience. Experience in modern warehousing practices and methods in a related or similar field will be an advantage.
- Possess effective administrative and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Possess at least GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ level or professional certification from recognised institutions.
- A valid forklift licence will be preferred, but training will be provided to get the license, if needed.
CAREER PROGRESSION:
Anyone who demonstrates good performance in this role can be considered for the role of a Driver cum Logistics Assistant after one year. The Company may provide partial or full sponsorship for attaining a class 4 driving license in Singapore.
