The Job
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules based on equipment requirements and resource availability.
- Coordinate and communicate maintenance activities with co-workers and various departments to minimize disruption to day-to-day operations.
- Plan equipment inspection, servicing, and overhaul during scheduled downtime.
- Perform both short and long range planning and scheduling, respond to emergencies and schedule changes.
- Coordinate with procurement department to call quotation/tender for term contracts and external ad-hoc services required by maintenance team.
- Liaise with term contractors such as planning maintenance schedule, where applicable.
- Monitor validity of term contractors' insurance policies and security deposit during period of contract.
- Liaise with team leaders to create purchase requisition for utilization of term contract roles.
- Establish and maintain standardized maintenance planning process, procedures, and workflows.
- Review and improve maintenance processes and procedures including work order system to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency.
- Make recommendations on best practices to be in line with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance procedures and schedule.
- Analyze breakdown report and liaise with team leaders to ensure breakdowns are categorized correctly.
- Provide reports on adherence to maintenance schedules.
The Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in technical field, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years working experience in an engineering role, with minimum 3 years in scheduling position with demonstrated success of implementing and operationalizing master schedules.
- Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance and repair works.
- A team player.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in IT applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
