A reputable multi-national Japanese steel trading company located in Central Business District is seeking a dynamic and driven team player to enhance our sales force in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sales of flat steel products as well as expanding the business overseas
- Develop excellent business relationships with existing mills, customers, identify potential clients to create new business opportunities
- Ensure customers’ needs and expectations are met through proactive relationship management
- Drive business strategy set by the management to increase sales of steel products
- Monitor market trends and competitive market information to identify new sales opportunities with aggressive sales action to improve steel sales
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Research, analyze and give recommendation on various opportunities in the marketplace to maximize earnings and to achieve sales target
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Proven experience in steel merchandising and trading
- Must be familiar with steel products including hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil, GI (Galvanised), etc
- With a minimum of 8 years of experience working in a multinational company
- Have an established network of customers and contacts within the industry, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Willingness and ability to travel when required for business purposes
