Our client, a tertiary healthcare institution in Singapore is currently seeking candidates to join them as a Pharmacist (Night Shift).
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and verify appropriateness of inpatient medication orders and discharge/ prescriptions and perform interventions as appropriate
- Ensure timely and accurate medication supply and inventory control
- Ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and dispensed within target turnaround time
- Provide drug information to other healthcare professionals
- Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and oversee smooth operation during shift
- Ensure performance indicators are met and pharmaceutical care is provided according to hospital SOPs and accreditation/ legal standards
- Assist in hospital projects or quality and safety initiatives when required
Job Requirements:
- Possess a recognised degree in Pharmacy
- Possess a valid Pharmacist license issued by Singapore Pharmacy Council
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital inpatient setting (excluding pre-registration)
- Able to work independently, including handling enquiries or reviewing medication orders of patients in critical care
- Able to commit to permanent 12hr night shift schedule
