We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Document Control Executive, Fleet (New Building)to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and organizing all project-related documentation, ensuring information is accurately recorded, easily accessible, and compliant with regulatory and company standards. This role also involves raising Purchase Orders and handling billing for the New Building Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement document control processes and procedures.
- Manage document revisions and ensure the latest versions are available.
- Maintain document control database and files.
- Coordinate document review and approval processes.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal document management requirements.
- Resolve document control issues and conflicts.
- Archive and dispose of outdated documents.
- Collate technical specifications and Owner-related comments.
- Raise Purchase Orders and handle billing.
- Perform any ad-hoc requirements as needed.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, Higher NITEC, or NITEC in Engineering.
- Good attention to detail.
- Independent and resourceful.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Highly organized with strong documentation skills.

- Prior work experience in ship management or a related field (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Collaborative team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using document management systems and software.
- Ability to present data/information clearly and concisely.
- Open-minded and adaptable.
