Job Descriptions:
- Regularly monitor and maintain hardware, software, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance security and surveillance.
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard against cyber threats and others
- Stay updated on the latest security patches and updates for all systems and on customized applications.
- Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system and network issues, reporting and end to end processes.
- Diagnose problems, provide technical support, and resolve hardware or software faults promptly to minimize downtime.
- Configure and maintain virtual private networks (VPNs) and virtual LANs (VLANs) to facilitate secure remote access and network segmentation as and when necessary.
- Conduct thorough research to identify software solutions that align with the company's requirements and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive IT policies and guidelines covering areas such as security protocols, equipment procurement, and replacement procedures.
- Set up and implement backup plans and business continuity plans for system applications and stored information.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance checks on equipment to avoid any undetected faults and unauthorized installations by any staff or participants.
- Maintain proper documentation of licenses, hardware and software inventories and ensure that records are up to date and properly presented.
- Undertake any other IT related assignment that may be given by the manager and/or his/her designate.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Information Technology.
- Minimum 3 years related experience;
- Familiarity with Server administration and switches configuration.
- Basic understanding of cyber-security;
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues;
- Ability to support PCs/Printers/Projectors/IT Peripherals Setup and Maintenance;
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player;
- Strong communication skills with all team members;
- Attention to detail and focus.
