A Finance Executive responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of the organization. This role typically involves a combination of strategic planning, financial analysis, and management tasks to ensure the company’s financial health and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Strategy:Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals.
Create budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Analyze financial performance and suggest improvements.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Experience in tender process.
Communicate financial performance to stakeholders and senior management.
Cash Flow and Investment Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure the organization has sufficient funds.
Oversee investment strategies and capital expenditures.
Evaluate financial risks and returns on investments.
Financial Analysis:Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to SCA financial regulations and internal controls.
Oversee audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Monitor and manage insurance, credit, and other financial risks.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background: A Diploma in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is typically required. Degrees (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance) or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) can be advantageous.
Experience: Extensive experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and market trends.
Leadership and Communication: Effective leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
