We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Treasury Associate to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and a keen interest in cryptocurrency. Responsibilities
- Cash Management: Assist in daily cash management activities, including monitoring of cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity across wallets and accounts
- Transaction Processing: Support the processing of treasury-related transactions, including payments, transfers, and currency exchanges.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of crypto and fiat accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing regular treasury reports, including cash position, forecast, and variance analysis.
- Risk Management: Support in identifying and managing financial risks related to currency fluctuations and liquidity.
- Compliance: Ensure all treasury activities comply with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Ad-hoc Finance Projects: Support various ad-hoc finance projects as needed, including analysis, research, and process improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing treasury policies, procedures, and tools to improve efficiency and control.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance, accounting, and operations teams to support treasury-related initiatives and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles; experience in the cryptocurrency industry is a plus.
- Basic understanding of financial instruments, cash management, and treasury operations.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency wallets, exchanges, and blockchain technology is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
