About the role
A solution orientated Procurement Executive who can formulate and drive a consistent approach towards all sourcing, negotiation, purchasing and tendering activities, to ensure value for money is maximized and cost savings generated. She/he will always ensure that all purchasing activities support and strengthen the strategic objectives of the overall organization.
What you will be doing
- Co-ordinate, facilitate and manage Procurement processes - Sourcing, RFQ, Negotiation, Vendor Management etc
- Drive for cost reduction initiatives, promote sustainable sourcing and continuous business processes improvement
- Gather data, market analysis and information of commodities to support plans and decisions (Bench Marking Exercise)
- Engage with Operations teams to deliver added value products and services
- Attend to Operations’ feedback and assist in resolving problems with suppliers
- Support backend offices such as HR, IT, QHSE, Facility etc. in sourcing and negotiation activities
- Work closely with Legal in contract negotiation with suppliers
- Support Procurement team in day-to-day Procurement task and provide administrative support
The successful candidate
- Degree/Diploma in Business or Supply Chain fields
- Ideally 5 years working experiences. Experienced in purchasing and logistics is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Smart time management of workload, resourceful and able to perform and accomplish the tasks assigned under tight schedule
- Innovative/creativity, high integrity, and takes initiative/challenge
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
- Team player in a fast pace and dynamic environment
- Basic understanding of purchasing workflow & process
