Position Summary
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a key executive responsible for overseeing all aspects of technology development and implementation, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and market demands. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Technology Leadership: Articulate and implement a forward-looking
technology strategy that aligns with the company’s overall mission and objectives,
driving innovation, sustainability, and scalability in renewable energy technologies
such as solar, wind, and energy storage. - Innovation and Research Development: Lead the research and development efforts
to identify, evaluate, and develop cutting-edge technologies, products, and solutions.

technologies and their integration into the company's portfolio. - Technical Excellence and Oversight: Provide visionary leadership to the
engineering and technical teams, ensuring the highest standards in the design,
development, and deployment of renewable energy solutions. Oversee the
architecture and engineering practices to ensure robust, scalable, and sustainable
technology solutions. - Market and Industry Insights: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends,
emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape in the renewable energy sector.

energy technologies. - Resource Optimization and Budget Management: Oversee the technology budget,
ensuring judicious allocation of resources to maximize return on investment and

Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; Master's degree or Ph.D. is highly desirable.
- At least 10-15 years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within the renewable energy sector or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience in leading the development and deployment of innovative technologies, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy solutions (solar, wind, energy storage, etc.).
- Proven track record of successfully managing R&D initiatives and guiding technologies from concept to commercialization.
- Strong strategic acumen with the ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt technology strategies to leverage market opportunities.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead high-performing technical teams.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving business results through technology.

- Experience in an international or multicultural environment with a focus on renewable energy markets.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and compliance requirements related to renewable energy technologies.
- A strong network of industry contacts and established relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy sector.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Business Mandarin is required to effectively manage Chinese-speaking senior stakeholders, as well as technical and engineering teams based in China.
- Frequent business travel to China is required for attending technological conferences, engaging in knowledge exchanges, reporting to senior management, and conducting meetings with prospective investors.
