Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of WSH/EHS programs.
- Attend safety-oriented meetings and compile safety reports as directed.
- Conduct regular inspections at client premises to ensure compliance with WSH/EHS regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise fire safety, emergency response, first aid, and business continuity activities.
- Investigate, analyze, report, and recommend preventive measures in the event of on-site incidents/accidents.
- Develop and implement WSH/EHS risk assessment and management procedures in line with MOM regulations and codes of practice.
- Investigate WSH violations and workplace accidents, providing suggestions for corrective actions.
- Deliver safety training and briefings to clients, subcontractors, and employees.
- Conduct WSH inductions for clients, subcontractors, and staff.
- Regularly inspect equipment, machinery, and assets to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Evaluate and recommend safety measures when procuring new or used equipment and machinery.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all work activities, proposing and reviewing safety considerations when needed.
- Collaborate with the HQ Safety Department to address WSH matters with MOM on-site.
- Provide guidance to the team and management on WSH and fire safety issues.
- Collaborate with the client's office to establish, implement, and upkeep the WSH/EHS Management System.
- Support SFSM responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in any Engineering discipline/Building/Safety & Health/Environment related or any equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore.
- Must be registered WSH Officer with MOM.
- Certified Fire Safety Manager and 3 years of working experience as appointed FSM.
- Good knowledge in emergency preparedness, mitigation and response
- Good team player and good in communication skills.
- Candidate need to possess Senior Fire Safety Manager certificate .
