This role offers an opportunity to build a strong foundation and your experience in accounting, tax, HR and financial management. You will form part of a team providing accounting and financial advisory support to a variety of international businesses and wide range of industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, balance sheet schedules (investments, right-of-use assets, prepayments, accruals, etc.) and cash flow statements, for management review and external stakeholders.
- Prepare corporate income tax returns.
- Handle payroll related matters, CPF submission, AIS filling etc.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and corporate governance guidelines.
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum three (3) years of related experience.
- Strong bookkeeping skills.
- Deep understanding of Financial Reporting Standards and familiarity with Singapore Tax regulations.
- Tech Savy; you will be required to use Microsoft Excel and other accounting systems.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and a proactive approach towards driving process and system improvements.
- Candidare with experience working in a firm providing outsourced accounting services will be an added advantage.
