I am current hiring for a insurance company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions across the APAC region. We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead our IT Infrastructure project team, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless project execution.
Role Overview:The Program Manager (PMO) - IT Infrastructure is a senior role responsible for managing a team of project managers overseeing IT infrastructure projects across APAC. This role requires extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, team leadership, and a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding the team, developing roadmaps, and aligning project strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Project Managers responsible for IT infrastructure projects across the APAC region, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure project success.
- Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and maintain roadmaps, strategies, and plans to guide the team in managing the IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and regional priorities.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget. Guide project managers in managing their individual projects when needed.
- Task Distribution: Efficiently allocate tasks and responsibilities across the team, ensuring that resources are optimized and projects are aligned with overall strategy.
- Budget Management: Oversee the regional IT infrastructure budget, developing comprehensive budget plans, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines. Present and justify budget requirements to finance and senior management teams.
- Reporting & Communication: Write detailed reports and updates to keep the team and stakeholders aligned with project progress and strategic initiatives. Communicate clearly and effectively to present plans to finance and management teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and other management, to ensure the successful implementation of IT infrastructure projects.
- Infrastructure Expertise: Leverage your all-rounded IT infrastructure knowledge to provide insights and guidance to the team, ensuring best practices are followed and projects are strategically aligned.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in program or project management within IT infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing a team of project managers, with strong leadership and team-building skills.
- All rounded knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centers, and cloud services.
- Demonstrated experience in developing roadmaps, strategies, and plans for IT projects.
- Strong budget management skills with the ability to create and present financial plans to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a track record of successfully overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
