We are looking for Infrastructure Architect to support our projects on a 12 months extendable contract basis.
The successful candidate will be in charge of all architecture topics around the Cloud and traditional infrastructure across Asia Pacific and more specifically:
- Compute and Storage
- Database and Middleware
- Private Cloud and Public Cloud Infrastructure
Role and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with manager and the teams to design, develop and implement long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans for deploying the services linked to the perimeter
- Ensure that proposed and existing infrastructure architectures are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Work closely with internal clients to understand their needs and propose solutions that fit into the group strategies
- Maintain a positive relationship with stakeholders and partners
- Steer the implementation of the Private Cloud service portfolio in ASIA
- Drive the deployment of the Public Cloud enablers in ASIA according to the global standards
- Work closely with global product factories on the product strategy and vision, and give feedback on the content and prioritization
- Ensure that proposed and existing infrastructure architecture is aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Build Proof of Concept
- Maintain the architecture documentation library up-to-date
- Manage key transformation or integration projects
- Represent ASIA at the various architecture committees and global EXCO
- Contribute to the construction and optimization of the product budget
- Stay abreast of developments in technologies used by the teams and up to date on industry practices
Required skills:
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with a post graduate degree being advantageous
- Strong knowledge in Infrastructure services: Compute / Operating Systems / Storage / Backup
- Strong knowledge in Platform services: Database, Messaging and Container technologies
- Good knowledge in Network and Datacenter urbanization
- Good knowledge in Public Cloud providers and their services (AWS, Azure, etc.
- Expertise in designing design patterns, data structures, CICD architecture, agile development.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Autonomous and resourceful
- Experience in establishing strong and long-term relationship with internal partners
- Excellent presentation skills. Able to address to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior decision makers
- Excellent communication (written and verbal). Fluent in English
- Broad understanding of Infrastructure services, operational risks and management methodologies
- Financial services or FinTech experience is preferred
