Finance and Operations Coordinator (Trade Finance - Agriculture)
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle monthly closing of a full set of accounts
- Manage and provide accurate monthly bank reconciliations, maintaining journals, general ledger, P&L, and balance sheets
- Prepare and submit monthly tax filings
- Oversee all accounting and taxation responsibilities for the legal entity
- Manage letters of credit, bills of lading, and other trade finance documents
- Coordinate with banks and vendors to facilitate international transactions
- Assist with employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR record-keeping
- Support routine paperwork and documentation, performing day-to-day accounting functions
- Check the validity of documents received from vendors
- Prepare documents to be provided to customers
- Supervise data and ensure compliance with business processes
- Coordinate closely with other departments
- Provide general administrative support to the management team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance or operations role, preferably in the agriculture or logistics industry
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and trade finance processes
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of reading and writing in Chinese, able to communicate with Chinese stakeholders
