QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing costs and ensuring the efficient completion of our construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Taking-off Quantities for Tendering: Measure and calculate quantities for tender submissions.
2. Pre-Tender Estimate & Document Preparation: Responsible for preparing pre-tender estimates and tender documents.
3. Claims & Budget Management: Manage claims, variation orders, budget control, and final account settlements.
4. Project Support: Provide coordination and support to the project team.
5. Material Procurement: Source, negotiate, and process orders for materials from suppliers.
6. Material Delivery Management: Oversee the timely delivery of materials.
7. Vendor Claims: Evaluate and process claims from vendors.
8. Progress Claims: Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to consultants in a timely manner.
9. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

1. Must possess at least a Higher Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD, NavisWork is an advantage.
4. Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. A good team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
6. High level of initative, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
