Roles & Responsibilities
Job Descriptions:
- Review and Summarize Enquiry, Identify Scope of Works and Prepare Commercial Proposal
- Manage project costing from tendering to post contract
- Addressing variation and work costing
- Perform procurement duties such as sourcing, evaluating, negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Preparation of monthly site progress report and photographs
- Quantity Checking and Preliminary Costing including getting Downstream Consultant Price
- Compile Supporting Documents for Tender / Proposal submission
- Follow Up and Negotiate on contract
- Review Terms and Conditions of Contract from client
- Prepare, Submit and Follow Up on Progress Claim, Tax Invoice and Payment Collection
- Closing of Project Account upon Project Completion
- Reporting to Senior QS / Directors
- Other ad-hoc duties when assign by superiors
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering, Building or equivalent from a recognized university. Relevant Diploma from local tertiary institions will be considered
- At least 3 Year (s) of working experience with strong knowledge of Local Construction Practices
- Good inerpersonal, Analytical skills and Communication Skills and Enjoy Interacting with people at all levels
- Meticulous, an eye for Details and Sensitive to Figures / Numbers
- Positive Attitudes / Drive for Result and Willing to Learn
- Proactive with Good Teamwork, Good Self-Discipline and Ownership of Task
- Good working knowledge of contract law, contract negotiation and tender processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Autocad and measurement software
-Good technical knowledge and well verse in interpretation of drawings
