DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Infrastructure for company’s Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) for company’s Digitalization eCommerce Platform
  • Design, Implementation, Maintain Tools and processes for seamless integrations, and deployment of software.
  • Ensure that smooth software development through entire life cycle – from code writing to production, error-free, and smooth.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to facilitate communication and coordinate across teams in enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify the manual process to design and develop automation process.
  • Execute Service Request and Changes.
  • Preventive monitoring of the health and status of the platform and systems
  • Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.
  • Responding to, solving of, first- and second-line incidents and monitoring all DevOps elements.
  • Ensure all API processes adhere to security best practices, including authentication, encryption, and access control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4+ years working experience in DevOps with focus on eCommerce and Automation process.
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting production environments.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and with agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Multiple Programming Languages, like Golang, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby.
  • Strong understanding of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and best practices
  • Proficient with Version Control Systems. (e.g. Git) to manage code repositories effectively.
  • Possess acute skills in automation and scripting
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in a DevOps context, including securing infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and handling sensitive data.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality results.
  • Able to on stand-by on weekend and support after office hours when required.
