Role
We are looking for a Frontend Developer (React.js, JavaScript) who will work closely with our UI/UX designers to ensure that all visible parts of the web applications of our clients function properly. You are responsible for writing codes to troubleshoot and debug issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and maintain web applications using modern development practices;
- Write clean and modular code, with extensibility and performance in mind
- Collaborate with the rest of the development team by performing code reviews and mentoring junior developers
- Work with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, as well as performance-tuning and optimization of web applications;
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional organization to prioritize, scope and communicate progress of deliverables.
Requirements
Must have
- 5+ years of proven experience in React.js, JavaScript
- Solid years of experience in Frontend Development
- Solid understanding of vanilla JavaScript (ES5, ES2015+) HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with CSS pre/post compilers such as SASS , Post CSS or Autoprefixer
- Experience with unit testing web application using modern test tools such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, Sinon and KarmaJS
- Experience with cross-browser / cross-device development, testing and optimization
- Familiar with source control tools (i.e Git ) and familiar with modern development workflows (Branching, PRs)
Great to have
- Experience in developing a real-time, trading web application for Derivatives or other financial asset classes
- Experience in developing dynamic dashboards and chart visualizations using tools such as Highcharts, D3.js, Tableau;
- Experience in developing custom tooling using NodeJS
- Experience in setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines
