MEC Studio was conceived as Boutique Design Practice with a personal and process-based approach, working closely with Clients, to create and grow visions from initial sketches all the way to finely-crafted built work.
With project experience internationally and locally, large and small scale, and in a range of typologies, the multidisciplinary process blends Architecture, Interior, and Landscape.
Job Overview:
We are looking for energetic and dedicated Designers, to fill Junior/Intermediate positions, who enjoy being hands-on during all aspects of design and construction, and are flexible to adapt/contribute to various aspects of a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Integrally develop Design, generate ideas utilizing sketches, 2D and 3D, visualizations, and presentation formats, at all stages of the project from Planning and Concept, through Construction Administration.
- Maintain documentation of Design of at all project stages, logically, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage projects, schedules, teams and consultants as required, independently and in close collaboration with Principal/Directors.
- Represent MEC Studio to clients, operators and consultants and travel internationally for project meetings, as required.
- Grow and contribute to MEC Studio as a sustainable work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 5-7 years of relevant Architecture and/or Interior Design working experience, particularly with history of Residential projects. Hospitality, F&B, and Commercial a plus.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Office (PowerPoint, Word, & Excel, etc.)
- Good communication skills in English. Bahasa and/or Chinese are a plus
- International experience and/or capability of working with foreign clients/consultants are a plus
- 3D modelling and rendering capability (D5, Lumion), Adobe Creative Suite, or other multi-media software are a plus
