Roles and Responsibility (Assistant Centre Head / Centre Head) :
- Responsible for the daily running of a Student Care Centre, including programme planning, curriculum development, and implementing health and safety procedures.
- Oversee afternoon routines to ensure the well-being of the children.
- Liaise with school management and parents on matters concerning student care, particularly regarding student affairs and teaching and learning issues.
- Maintain close communication with vendors, such as bus vendors, to ensure safe and timely pick-up and drop-off services.
- Maintain the school's physical condition to provide an optimal learning environment for students.
- Mentor teachers to foster positive and collaborative approaches to learning, teaching, and evaluation.
- Ensure that the school's programmes and new initiatives are executed to the highest standards.
- Support enrolment and conduct centre tours to explain the programmes and services.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as reports, finance, GIRO reports, etc.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by the Centre Director (for Assistant Centre Head).
Requirements (Assistant Centre Head/Centre Head) :
- Minimum of a Diploma in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Demonstrated exceptional work ethic and high integrity.
- Positive attitude and ability to handle challenges with grace and professionalism.
- Passion for working with children and fostering their love for learning.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide teachers effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a fast-paced work environment.
- Commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment for both students and staff.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children, preferably at the primary level Those with supervisory experience will have an advantage.
