Position title: System Engineer (Public Sector)
Working Days: 5 days (Mon-Fri)
Working hours: 9am – 6pm
Location: Alexandra
Salary: $4,500 Max (Depends on Experience)
Job Description:
A system engineer duties encompass installing, commissioning, and offering round-the-clock support for the company’s implemented products and solutions. Additionally, they are tasked with mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should be a collaborative team player capable of comprehending requirements and environments, with the technical expertise to guide the team through successful implementation endeavours.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of a talented team of like-minded people to design, implement, commission and support leading edge telecommunication products.
- Client-facing to understand and troubleshoot customers’ issue.
- To liaise and work with global equipment vendors to follow up and drive closure on technical related matters, including issues and documentation, with occasional business travel of projects.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers.
- Lead the project technical team to design, build and implementation of Tier 1 turn-key projects.
- Conduct technical workshops for clients based on existing product offering.
Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in an Engineering or Computer Technology discipline specialized in Communications Engineering, Computer & Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics.
- Knowledge in any of the below fields in 4G/5G mobile communications, cloud computing, network function virtualization, database, Linux Operating Systems and IP networking domain knowledge will be advantage.
