Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager with extensive experience to ensure the best utilisation and management of our Client’s fleet of vehicles. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for individuals who excel in vehicle, safety, maintenance and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Devise fleet management strategies for the company. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising service quality. Manage the A-Z of the logistics for the fleet, from GPS tracking to fleet administration and servicing of vehicles. Oversee the maintenance of the vehicles by implementing a vehicle management system. Monitor compliance, quality control and assurance standards for all areas of fleet management. Recruit, train, and supervise the delivery team, providing effective leadership. Evaluate performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Cultivate strong relationships with vehicle leasing companies and third-party service providers.
Qualifications:
· Minium diploma in logistics, supply-chain management, or a similar
· Previously working as a fleet manager, logistics manager or similar
· Valid Class 3 driver’s licence
· Experienced in transporting and handling of food products industry
